Our 2020 Senior Ambassador
ELLA
Q: "Why did you want to be our ambassador?"
“I think that I would make a great ambassador to represent both of my schools. I am very focused and motivated whenever I do work for nursing at PATHS or at CBHS. I love my teachers and I love trying new things and putting forth my best work that could potentially make a change in the world or in my own life. I also think that I am one of the strongest students who always pursue greatness and offers to help out with whatever I can when I'm needed.” ~ Ella

PAIGE
Q: "Why did you want to be our ambassador?"
"I would make a great ambassador to represent my school because I take pride in my school, my community, and my state. I love that I’ve lived my whole life in Maine. Whether I’m canoeing on Mirror lake or clam-digging at Biddeford Pool, I am a true example of a typical teenage girl from Maine. " ~ Paige

LAURA
Q: "Why did you want to be our ambassador?"
"I want to show people that it doesn't matter where you come from, how much money you have, or what your last name is. If you put everything you have into making yourself and the world a better place, good things will happen. Let me show them that." ~ Laura
KANSAS
Q: "Why did you want to be our ambassador?"
"At Cheverus, one of the things we live by is "MAGIS", which I believe I highly exemplify (MAGIS is a philosophy of doing more, for Christ, and therefore doing more for others. It is an expression of an aspiration and inspiration). If I am chosen to represent my school, I will be able to show my pride for Cehverus, and my growth into the person I have become. ~ Kansas
2016 SENIOR AMBASSADORS
NIA
When we selected Nia to be one of our Senior High School Ambassadors we felt like we really hit the jackpot. Not only does she always have a smile on her face, she puts everyone at ease and makes them feel comfortable and important. She is involved in important issues within the community and volunteers at local nursing homes and assists with coaching clinics for younger children. She has served as the Vice President of the National Honor Society and has a list of impressive achievements. But the thing that really made us sit up and take notice of this impressive young lady is the three words she used to describe herself: “Lead By Example”
Joshua
Funny, compassionate and sincere are words often used to describe Joshua from Cheverus High School. Joshua is a natural ambassador with his genuine warmth, his interest in helping others and his ability to integrate the chaos of teen life into a smooth, rich and rewarding experience for those around him. He encourages those around him to reach for their dreams with integrity and a smile. Helping others is what feeds Joshua’s soul, it is in his blood to be selfless but retain leader qualities. He is a fine example of life balance with his active sports career, his faith and his volunteer work.
Mackenzie
Mackenzie Hoglund is a well-rounded student who lives his life by the 3 words he has chosen to describe himself: competitive, personable, and outgoing. His competitiveness has played out well through his participation in the Varsity Boys Soccer Team from 2012 -2015. There’s nothing like sports to instill healthy competition and the ability to be a team player. His volunteer work with the Boys and Girls Clubs as well as his participation as a Student Council Member and Student Ambassador exemplify his traits of being personable and outgoing. With his ability to keep his eye on the prize and work with all kinds of personalities, he makes an excellent Ambassador for Senior Portraits.
